PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PROJECT COMPOSITION
MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE
The new plant consists of:
- A Class F gas turbine 255 MW
- A heat recovery boiler
- A steam turbine 135 MW
- Cooling towers
- A cooling water pumping station in the lagoon
- Associated auxiliary equipment
- Administrative and maintenance buildings
- A town of residence for farmers
In order to reduce its environmental impact, ATINKOU is also equipped with a fleet of more than 2000 solar panels of 860 kW. These panels cover the various buildings of the plant.
The plant operates as a base, providing 2.875 GWh per year on the 400 kV network that surrounds the Agglomeration of Abidjan.
GAS TURBINE
Uses Ivorian natural gas to operate the first phase of high-efficiency electricity generation.
RECOVERY CAUDER
Recovers the heat from the exhaust gas (normally lost) to turn water into high pressure steam.
TURBINE FOR VAPER
Use the steam generated to generate 50% additional electricity without additional gas consumption.
The project is developed by the ERANOVE Group and its institutional investor of reference CNPS.
The design and construction (EPC) is carried out by the Spanish group TSK and SHANAHAN.
