REINSTALLATION ACTION PLAN (PAR)
A RIGOROUS AND SOCIAL DEBATE
Beyond economic opportunities, the realization of the ATINKOU plant has impacts on the human environment. Our response is structured, social and in line with international standards.
To mitigate the loss of land, crops or housing, we deploy a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) strict.
This plan is aligned with Ivorian national regulation and strictly respects the performance requirements of our international donors (SFI, AfDB).
OUR BASIC OBJECTIVE
Ensure project does not cause no uncompensated injury. We ensure that affected populations do not experience a decline in their standard of living, but rather that they benefit from the benefits of the project.
PRME: RESTORATION OF EXISTING MEANS
Financial compensation is not enough. We accompany each family to sustainably restore its sources of income.
HOUSING & TRANSITION
For affected resident owners, we secure the transition period with an allowance equivalent to 12 months rent, time to relocate calmly.
SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Support by a specialised NGO for agricultural intensification: better production on smaller areas and aid for vegetable conversion.
SECURIZATION OF FUNDS
Training in budget management to avoid mismanagement of compensation. Specific protection of women and children in the face of cash flow.
OUR TRAINING ACTIONS ON THE TERRAIN
N'Djem & Taboth: Theoretical sessions, practical sessions and handouts.
