On Friday, November 15, 2024, the national day of peace in Côte d'Ivoire, the company ATINKOU proudly celebrated its day of planting trees, an initiative part of a broader approach to preserving the environment. Placed under the sign of peace and sustainability, this day brought together administrative and customary authorities, partners and members of the community in a collective momentum for nature.
The ceremony began at 10:00 am with the warm welcome of the guests. After his introduction, the Project Director, Mr Horiot Xavier, spoke on behalf of the Directorate General to recall the importance of this commitment in the fight against deforestation and to express his gratitude to the participants. Along with him, Colonel YAO Boni stressed the collective responsibility to protect our ecosystems, stressing the crucial role of concrete actions such as reforestation.
In her turn, Mrs KRA Epouse OULLA Félicité, Prefect of Jacqueville department, magnified the tree as a symbol of life and sustainability. It welcomed the efforts of ATINKOU for this event, calling on everyone to continue this dynamic.
The key moment of the ceremony was the planting of the first trees by the officials, a highly symbolic gesture reflecting collective commitment. The other participants then joined this effort, giving life to a space of hope for future generations. The day closed on a festive note with a family photo and a friendly cocktail, strengthening the spirit of solidarity around this noble cause.
